The Long Gun Pack Mat by Blackhawk is an extremely robust shooting mat that can also be used as a carrying bag or rifle backpack for easier transport of the firearm at the shooting range.
The bag is made of 1000 denier nylon with firm foam padding.
An exterior pocket holds the backpack straps when not in use, and another large exterior pocket accommodates a 3L hydration bladder or plenty of accessories. Two smaller exterior pockets are also available.
The packed size of the Pack Mat is small, but with fold-out pockets for the stock and barrel, featuring integrated muzzle protection, rifles up to 127cm in length can be stored in the bag or backpack configuration.
In the bag configuration, it can also be used for rappelling or as a drag bag, as it has the necessary durability, loops, and eyelets.
When unfolded as a shooting mat, it offers an area of 71x124cm (without stock and muzzle pocket) with a layer of extremely stable and non-slip HawkTex fabric on the front half to create a safe and durable support for shooting bags or bipods. A strip of hook-and-loop fastener runs across the entire width at the front for attaching accessory pockets or shooting rests. Two hook-and-loop pockets for notebooks, ammunition, or other small accessories are included.
Please note! Since the Long Gun Pack Mat is NOT lockable, it cannot be used for transporting firearms according to German law! It is wonderfully suited for use in hunting, long-range shooting, or at extensive shooting ranges as a case - or it can simply be used as a shooting mat.
