The Long Gun Pack Mat from Blackhawk is an extremely durable shooting mat that can also be used as a carrying case or rifle backpack for easier weapon transport at the shooting range.
The bag is made of 1000D nylon with firm foam padding.
An external pocket stores the backpack straps when not in use, while another large external pocket provides space for a 3L hydration bladder or plenty of accessories. Two smaller external pockets are also available.
The Pack Mat's compact size allows it to store rifles up to 127 cm in length in either bag or backpack configuration, thanks to fold-out pockets for the stock and barrel, including integrated muzzle protection. In bag mode, it can also be used for rappelling or as a drag bag, as it is equipped with the necessary robustness, loops, and eyelets.
When unfolded as a shooting mat, it provides a surface of 71 x 124 cm (excluding the stock and muzzle pockets). The front half is made from highly durable, non-slip HawkTex fabric, creating a stable and long-lasting platform for shooting bags or bipods. A strip of Velcro runs across the full width of the front for attaching accessory pouches or shooting rests. Two Velcro-attached pouches for notebooks, ammunition, or other small accessories are included.

As the Long Gun Pack Mat cannot be locked, it cannot be used for firearm transport under German law! However, it is ideal as a case for hunting, long-range shooting, or use on large shooting ranges—or simply as a shooting mat.
